The crossing is part of it.
Ten minutes from downtown, fifty metres of water from everything else. Four ways in — one of them involves a boat, and we recommend the boat.
By water
Water taxi from Queens Quay to Polson Pier — an eight-minute crossing, and the best possible way to arrive. Boats run continuously from noon on operating days; the last crossing back leaves at 23:30.
By car
11 Polson Street, five minutes off the Gardiner via the Don Valley Parkway or Lake Shore Boulevard. On-site parking at the pier; arrive before 18:00 on event nights for the closest rows.
By rideshare
Drop-off at the gate. Tell the driver "Polson Pier" — they'll know. The pickup zone sits just outside the entrance, clear of the parking queue at close.
By bicycle
Ride the Martin Goodman Trail east along the waterfront, cross at Cherry Street and follow Polson to the end of the pier. Racks by the entrance; helmets welcome poolside, we won't judge.
